A life of struggle and hardship left Naseema (42) begging on the streets of Delhi and unable to care for her sick daughter. This is how she was found by one of our employees. Skeptical of modern medicine, it took time for Naseema to agree to come to Hope’s Health Centre, where she was immediately treated for a severe annelid infestation. In addition, life on the streets had led to a skin infection that left many scars. It’s been a year since Hope first met these two people. Naseema is now training as a domestic helper.
She and her daughter still have a tough road ahead, but for the first time in many years, Naseema has hope for a better future.
