Operations

  1. The legal identity of Hope Project consists of two separate organizations namely Hazrat Inayat Khan Foundation & Hope Project Charitable Trust.
  2. The advisory board of the Hope Project consists of Indian professionals working in the fields of medicine, education and social work. It is complemented by two international consultants.

Both the Foundation & Trust are subject to Indian tax law, is recognized as non-profit organizations and is regulated by the rules & regulations of Government of India.

Samiur Rahman is the director of the Hope Project and leads to management team to carry out the tasks of the project which include:

  • The creation of framework plans based on the needs & demand of target groups & project communities & reporting.
  • The preparation of the annual budget
  • The audit of the accounts & annual balance sheet
  • The selection of the program managers and the overall management
  • The development of new sub-programmes

The Hope Project is supported by non-profit associations in Europe and the USA in specific and the rest of the world in general. They raise private and institutional donations. Institutional support is also provided by various embassies in India. The Hope Project is also supported by individuals, corporates & Government of Delhi.
